The biggest match he officiated in was as an assistant referee in a match between Arsenal and Chelsea. In January 2008 he was appointed as Referees Development Officer for Somerset Football Association, where his role is to recruit, retain and train referees within the county. He does this primarily with the assistance of Richard Melinn.
